The earth has been our home for centuries. Many of us believe it was created by God. Even though we haven’t always treated the
earth with the respect it deserves, it has still done a good job of sustaining
us for centuries. Celebrating the earth is
a good thing to do anytime –including Earthday.
Earthday is only one day each year but that doesn’t mean you can do
nice things for the earth once a year.
It could be a good day to make some lasting changes that will lessen
your footprint on the earth. Maybe you
could make a vow to use public transit more if you’re in an area where it’s
offered. You could walk more and drive
less. Maybe now would even be a good
time to go buy a bike and use that for some of your errands, or even just to
get out. Maybe you could replace your
toxic cleaners with non-toxic cleaners.
Cleaners don’t have to be toxic to be effective. Imagine all the toxins that will no longer be
sent down your drain, or down to the water table. All these are changes that will help reduce
our footprints on the planet. How about
working at home and telecommuting instead of commuting to a workplace. That would also reduce our footprint. There are many jobs or work situations that
will allow for that. If you are in one
of those, talk to your employer about it, maybe start with one or two days per
week and then add to them. Maybe you
will ultimately end up working from home most of the time if not all the
time. Imagine that.
I have a business where people that can be run from their home and it
also offers a way to eliminate many toxins in your home too. I can show you a way to improve the health of
your family, reduce your footprint on the earth, and allow you to work at home –
eliminating the daily commute. Those of you,
who truly want to make a bigger impact get in, touch with me.
